03. MADU RIVER BOAT SAFARI
The estuary of the Madu Ganga River is a complex coastal ecosystem of mangroves and islands. A boat trip is a wonderful way of seeing some of the hundreds of species of plants and animals – monkeys eat fruit in the trees, a water monitor lizard glides slowly through the water, and cormorants, crocodile’s egrets and kingfishers wait patiently on the banks, eyeing the water for prey. There are around 64 islands in the river and lagoon. 11. SINHARAJA RAIN FOREST TOUR
Sinharaja Rain Forest a very important, UNESCO named world heritage site and Biosphere reserve. Sinharaja is one of the most important bio diversity hotspot in Sri Lank The hilly virgin rain forest, part of the Sri Lanka lowland rain forests was saved from the worst of commercial logging by its inaccessibility, it is a treasure trove of endemic species, including trees, insects, amphibians, reptiles, birds and mammals.
An interesting phenomenon is that birds tend to move in mixed feeding flocks, invariably led by the fearless Greater Racket-tailed Drongo and the noisy Orange-billed Babbler. Of Sri Lanka’s 26 endemic birds, the 20 rainforest species all occur here, including the elusive Red-faced Malkoha, Green-billed Coucal and Sri Lanka Blue Magpie.
Reptiles include the endemic Green pit viper and Hump-nosed vipers, and there are a large variety of amphibians, especially tree frogs. Invertebrates include the endemic Common Birdwing butterfly and the inevitable leeches.

16. NUWARA ELIYA JOURNEY BY TRAIN
You will be taken by car from your hotel to Badulla Railway Station.( near Ella) Then the train journey begins. It reaches Ambewela. A 3-hour journey. You can see the beautiful tea gardens and the nine arch bridge in the surrounding environment.
Afterwards, visit Nuwara Eliya and Kandy cities and return to the hotel. You will get the opportunity to see the famous Gregory Lake of nuwaraeliya . sacred tooth relic temple of the kandy. Tea Factory
